I'm so happy for you Foxy, you lucky woman!
1. When I was a kid, I never enjoyed reading. 2. When I became a teenager, I was allowed to have a cup of coffee as a treat, every Saturday. 3. From the very first time that I laid eyes on a stingray (corvette), I always wanted to own one, but never did.

#3 would be true for me for sure! Not so sure about Ann though, so I'll go with #2 - I think she may have dunked some of those delicious homemade shortbread cookies she grew up with in her Saturday coffee.

Sorry ladies, #1 is true. I wasn't fond of reading when I was a child but grew to love it as an adult.
My husband always loved corvettes and wanted one for years. Not anymore though.
Mom didn't allow us to have coffee when we were kids, since she said it would stunt our growth. lol
I did love those delicious homemade shortbread cookies though, Foxy.
I'll go again and see if you can tell the truth from the fibs.
---
1. Mom never taught me or my 2 female siblings how to cook. 2. My Mom, Dad and myself and my siblings, all posed for a professional photographer on my parents milestone 50th Anniversary. 3. I wear clear nail polish on my finger and toenails, since I believe it protects them, plus it looks good.

#1 is true
Mom had no patience to teach us to cook.
I will come back tomorrow to try to stump you again.

Thanks, I hope that doesn't mean that I'm a good liar! lol
1. A neighbour once nominated me to be one of the great local citizens, so I & a few others, got a certificate for it on Canada Day. 2. I quit school after grade 11 and years later got my grade 12 diploma by attending day, night & summer school. 3. I've only dated one guy, who was slightly shorter than me, the rest were taller.

I did it again, #2 is true. After grade 11, I got a job for the summer that became full-time, so I didn't go back to school. I felt bad about not having my grade 12 diploma, so got it the way I described it above.
I'll have to give it some thought to see if I can stump you for a 4th time.

^ I thought Stamper was logged out, when I posted the above. As you know, I've been posting Stamper's replies for him.
As I type this, it says that Stamper & Ann are both online, even though I'm only logged in as Ann.
I think the system gets confused, since I'm using the same computer to post my replies & Stamper's.
Anyway, the above reply is mine, so I will post a couple of lies and one truth and post it below this post, when I come up with them.
Thanks for drawing this to my attention, Foxy.
Sorry for the confusion.

1. My Dad's Dad was born in England and my Mom's Dad was born in Bulgaria. 2. Mom helped me with my homework when I was in the early grades, especially spelling & math.. 3. I have 4 siblings, who like me, spend a lot of time online.

OK, one true statement -
1) Back in the late eighties I lost 60+ pounds.
2) My 21 year old granddaughter has dyed her hair a dark purple.
3) My soon-to-be 17 year old grandson won a full scholarship to Arizona State University.

Funny!
#1 was the true one
OK, try these:
1) We have many new neighbors, one has a brand new red Corvette.
2) One of the new neighbors is a Muslim woman that always wears a headscarf.
3) One new neighbor is a man about 80 & he walks his little chihuahua 3-4 times a day.
