RULES OF THE GAME:
Very simple to play, post three things about yourself - two are lies and one is the truth. We'll each take turns trying to figure out which thing is true. The first person to get it right, takes the next turn listing three things and so on.
If no one guesses correctly, the person who posted the three can take another turn or let the next person to post go, their choice.

Are those things on the chalkboard your three things? I was using it as an example of how the game is played, but you are correct, one of those statements is true.

Surprise - I fooled you both! As unbelievable as it seems, I actually nearly went over a cliff twice in my life! The first time was on my 6th birthday, I got behind the wheel of my parent's car when no one was watching and while pretending to drive, I must have released the parking break. Our property was upstate in the mountains and was on a steep incline. At the entrance of the property which was heavily wooded on each side, was a road lined with shrubbery so you had to turn either right or left onto the road. Behind the shrubbery was a huge drop with a house being built way down below. Long story short, my Mom ran and caught up with the car just as it was about to leave the property and she put her arm in the window, grabbed the steering wheel and turned it just in the nick of time. Instead of going straight through the shrubs and over the cliff, the car went left and came to a stop once it was no longer heading downhill. WHEW!!!
The second time was when I was in High School. My girlfriends decided to skip classes and we went joy riding instead. While driving in an unfamiliar place, the driver came to a sudden fork in the road, she swerved to go right but jammed on the breaks when she saw the road ended abruptly. We got out and looked and saw there was a huge drop and then the bay way down below. It was foggy and visibility was poor that day which contributed to the near fatal error, but we weren't paying attention either and never noticed the caution sign down the road. We really gave our guardian angels a workout that day.
So, since nobody answered correctly, I could take another turn, but I think I'll pass and let the next poster put up three of their own.

I have read almost every book about the Plantagenets available at my local library. I thoroughly enjoyed the Sharpe series of books by Bernard Cornwell. I am currently reading the fifth book of Game of Thrones.

So sorry, that actually is true. I even tried ordering books from other libraries, but most of the books I was looking for on the Plantagenets were out of print.

Plantagenets...I had never heard of this word but after looking it up and knowing you have an interest in it I know a best selling author that you would find very interesting if you're not aware of him already. Though much of what he promotes is highly controversial. For the record...I have almost no knowledge or interest in the subject matter other than his assertions regarding the Founding Fathers. He alleges that the founding of this country has direct ancestral roots to knights of the Crusades long before the historical record indicates and in the process of telling this story he contends that the Knights Templar found evidence that the foundations of Christianity were illegitimate. His assertions, views and portrayals of Catholics, Christians and Mormons are certain to offend many. Keeping that in mind, I think you would find the associated references to artifacts, relics and the Middle Ages interesting. His name is David BrodyHe just had his story about American Templars made into a movie this summer. I haven't seen the movie but from the trailer it looks...ummmm...Quite warm today isn't it?

The one untruth was the Sharpe series of books. There are about twenty in that series and I have put off starting it until I've finished the Game of Thrones series.

I believe #3 is the truth. Yes! Hey you're good at this. It was billionaire Mike Bloomberg, former Mayor of New York City, who surprised me with a kiss on my 50th Birthday. Your turn Ann.

1. I use to work as a waitress. 2. I walk for exercise. 3. I like playing card games offline.
