Don't sweat it, others have made the same mistake since most forums do a 'two things are true and one is a lie' game. We march to the beat of a different drummer here and do 'two lies and one truth.' So I got it right - cool. See if you can spot the truth... 1. I met and spoke with Robin Williams back in the 70's 2. My Brother managed Studio 54 back in it's heyday 3. My Mom, who was a terrific ballroom dancer, bought a pair of dancing shoes Ginger Rogers wore during the filming of The Barkleys of Broadway

Sorry - that was true. I used to go to a comedy club in Manhattan when I was in my 20's called Catch A Rising Star. One night I was there and there were no big name entertainers performing and suddenly Robin Williams and David Brenner surprised everybody and took over the stage. What a show they gave us! When Robin left, my friend Doreen grabbed my arm and said let's try to get his autograph. We went outside and my friend who was as bold as could be walked right up to him and asked him to sign her napkin. I was a bit shy and was worried we might be annoying him but he was very nice and gracious. I told him we were so surprised he showed up and told him he really made our night. He seemed genuinly happy to hear that. Nice guy, sad ending to a lifetime career of making others happy.

Let's try again...
One Thing is True...
1. I am fluent in French
2. I left the country twice alone on vacation
3. U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer has a photo I took hanging on the wall in his office

Fooled you True! I can see why you would think that would be a possibility, but that was a lie. Care to try again?

You are correct - I went to Bermuda twice by myself. Your turn - give us two lies and one true thing lilac.

One thing is true...
1. I once worked for Congresswoman Geraldine Ferraro who wound up becoming Walter Mondale's running-mate (first female ever to run for VP) when he ran for POTUS
2. I was an Auxiliary Police Officer for 2 years back in the early 80's
3. I had two bosses in a row who had identical twin brothers and whose careers ended in corruption scandals

1) I hope that is the true one but I'm not picking it. 2) That's the one I'll say is true. 3) Odds would be long on that one I think.

1) I hope that is the true one but I'm not picking it. 2) That's the one I'll say is true. 3) Odds would be long on that one I think. 1 - I knew Gerry well & I chatted with Mondale the day he came to meet with my boss to discuss the possibility of her becoming his running mate, but I never worked for her. 2) Nope, never been in law enforcement 3) Yeah, I know the odds are one in a million but this one is true. In fact, one of those bosses was the one I was talking about in #1. How about you giving us the next two lies and one truth, Lilac.

Well, based on how smart her Mom is, I think the apple didn't fall far from the tree so I'm going with #1 - I think your daughter has a Masters.

1. When I was in my early teens, we rescued a baby fox whose mother had been run over in the road near our summer house upstate. We took care of her until the end of the summer and then gave her to a neighbor who eventually let her go back into the woods and she never returned. We all called her Foxy Lady.
2. All births in my family have been boys only. I am the only exception to the rule and the chances of my being born, according to doctors, was slim and none. Continuing the tradition, my brother and all my male cousins had several sons each who went on to have only sons until a baby girl (who who was also not "supposed" to be born) finally came into the world a few years ago - and she was born on my birthday.
3. I worked as a horse groom at the Cimarron Ranch in Putnam Valley, NY for one year when I was 18.
