This is the first horror movie that actually terrified me. It was on channel 7 in D.C., the afternoon movie, and I watched it with my sister after school. I was pretty young and at the time, was bored out of my mind with the first two stories. Now, I love them as much as the third, but back then, hated them.
Then the last story, "Amelia", started. I just knew something bad was gonna go down with that doll, and did it ever. The whole story scared me, but it was the very end that literally sent me screaming out of the house. Like I said, I was pretty young, but the terror I felt...I've never been that scared from a movie since. But, it did make me a lifelong horror fan, despite the emotional scars, so it turned out OK, lol.
Still a favorite of mine today, and even now, when she starts twisting that knife in the floor and gives that grin, I still get chills. Great movie!
