#1 - I usually read 6 - 8 books a month.
#2 - I collect recipes from around the world.
#3 - Back in my working days I once worked at a distillery.

I'm going to say the one true thing is #3 because I think that's a great factoid if it's true. LOL

Sorry, Foxy, not true; although my father was an electrician in one many, many years ago.

I think you read more books than that a month, Penny, so #1 is out.
I think #3 is true.

1. When I was a child, we attended Sunday mass in an Iroquois Indian long house.
2. My parents originally named me Josephina, but I had my name changed legally in my 20's because I really hated being called Jo or Josie.
3. I have a dozen garden gnomes in my backyard and each is named after a character from Tolkein's The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings books. My favorite is Bilbo Baggins.

Ann wins this round.
I hated to be late for church when we were summering upstate because "the Indian church" as we called it, filled up fast and we would have to drive into town to attend service at the big, traditional church when we couldn't get in.
I loved the Indian church with the stations of the cross drawn on tomtoms around the church. Nice childhood memories. I understand it is still being lovingly maintained by the locals.

Wow, that church looks great and the view is wonderful. No wonder you have great childhood memories of attending Church there.
Here are my 2 lies & 1 truth.
1. I learned out to drive using a stick shift. 2. I use to make pies and donate them to sell at the school bazaar. 3. I went out on my first date when I was 13.

Sorry, Lilac, I have never driven a stick shift, except for my sister's semi automatic.
You got it Foxy. I started dating at 13. You're next,

1. In over 30 years at my current job, I have only worn pants to work perhaps 10 times.
2. I was born with a caul over my head and shoulders
3. I have a broken drumstick once used by Mickey Hart

1. After many years of friendship, I found out that I'm not only related to my two closest friends (both on their Mom's side) but I'm also related to one of their Aunt's best friends too. 2. I was forced to give up cheer leading in High School because I tore my Meniscus during practice for our first away game of the season. 3. I played a gingerbread girl in a 3rd grade school play, but minutes before I was to go on stage, I got caught on a prop and tore a huge hole in the crotch of the costume exposing my panties . A quick thinking teacher saved the day by fashioning an apron out of a Santa toy sack folded and pinned over an extension cord tied around my waist.
