The rules of this game are simple - we each take turns posting the name of a song from any era but the catch is there must be a color in the title. If you repeat a song title someone already used, it won't count. When the game officially closes (I'll give advance notice) the one with the most original posts wins. Remember, only one title per post but you'll get credit for every color that is named in the title of your song. Recording artist's name is optional.
I'll start us off...
Blue Suede Shoes ~ Carl Perkins or Elvis Presley

I've always been a huge fan of Buddy Holly.
Wonderful music for his era.

You rascal you! Dibs you say, well alright but only 'cause you asked so nicely. LOL
Here's one of my favorites blues/jazz singers, Ethel Waters. The words to this song hurts my heart. She's lamenting the fact that the dark color of her skin keeps her from finding love as the men only consider light skinned ladies to be attractive.
