See if you can figure out what these words have in common.

Are you peeking or have you already given up? Give it another try . Look at each word carefully.
This Is Cool.
Answer: No, it is not that they all have at least 2 double letters.
Answer: In all of the words listed, if you take the first letter, place it at the end of the word, and then spell the word backwards, it will be the same word..

Very interesting, I didn't think of that, I had to look.
I was the best note taker in my class and one of our students from Germany used to sit next to me so he could get some help. He spoke English very well, but he had a terrible time trying to understand the meaning of some of our expressions ~ for example, once the Professor said something was "a means to an end." Poor Eckhart was clueless.

The last of three. What do the following letters have in common? A E F H I K L M N T V W X Y ZThey are typically printed using straight lines. I'm using these three riddles to give the student's permission and practice at thinking creatively and differently about their view of language and problem solving. Language should be less about saying things correctly and more about communicating effectively. Something I obviously have a difficult time doing myself based on my experience on other forums.

So, you're a teacher?

I wouldn't call myself a teacher that be unfair to the real teachers as opposed to the brain-washers.
