Nose bleed it's over fast, but a bloom on the nose can last for days.
Listening to a neighbor blasting rap music in their backyard for a party from noon until 10 PM -or- accidently burning expensive steaks on your BBQ grill when you're making dinner for guests.

Trying to help out an ill neighbor by doing their laundry for them and accidentally mixing in a red item that turned everything pink -or- your credit card is not accepted and you can't pay for the expensive meal you just treated a friend to for their Birthday.

Diet, at least something good will come of it.
Spending a large sum of money on tickets to a play you've been dying to see, but it's so bad you couldn't wait for it to be over -or- treating yourself to an expensive pair of shoes that hurt so bad you try to return them but they won't refund your money because they show signs of wear

Wearing the same outfit. It might be difficult or even impossible to get a replacement for your meds at another pharmacy.
Finding out from a Department store you've been a victim of credit card fraud -or- walking into a room and catching your in-laws making love.
