I have never tried mint jelly (perhaps because it's usually used for lamb and I detest lamb.) |

I'm not sure about the mint jelly. As kids we had a lot of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, so it is possible that mint jelly was on a few of them back then.

Getting henna tattoos, an ancient art form from the Middle East/Asia, is gaining popularity in the west. My teenage niece came back from a trip to California with a henna tattoo on her wrist she got at Disneyland. They are safe, painless and temporary, however, there is a black henna that people are warned not to use because it can cause burning and permanent scarring.
Depending on your skin type and how careful you are with your tattoo, it could last for a couple of weeks. Here's a look at some types of Henna Tatto...
I have never gone whaling but I have seen some from my cruise ship as we traveled up the east coast to Nova Scotia, Canada. Very cool!

Been whale watching a couple of times but spent most of my time with my head in a bucket praying for shore. Though not politically correct I've eaten and have enjoyed whale meat and whale bacon. Have gone to King Richard's Faire here in Massachusetts a couple of times. I've never gone on a cruise ship vacation. |

I remember a missionary telling about when he lived with an Eskimo tribe and they gave him some horrible smelling rancid whale blubber to eat called Muktuk. They thought it was delicious but he had to choke it down not to offend them. One day he received a much longed for care package from home and it contained some Italian treats including a pepperoni. He cut pieces and was enjoying it when some of the Eskimo kids passed by. He offered some to them and was amused to see their look of disgust when they took a tiny bite. To each his own. LOL
Been on two cruise ships - one to Bermuda and one to Nova Scotia, Canada. Best vacations ever!!!
