I had a small white Christmas tree one time that I set up on my dresser, decorated with just red bulbs. It was just to have the spirit of Christmas going on in my room at that time.
I have never cut down my own Christmas tree

I only did the large jigsaw puzzles with my Mom. It's actually one of my fondest memories - we'd stay up late working on the puzzle and listening to music into the wee hours of the morning until we got totally giddy. She'd finally throw in the towel and head for bed and while she was getting her nightgown on, I'd put on one of her favorite songs and she would come back because she couldn't resist dancing. She would pretend to be mad at me for doing that to her, but we'd both crack up and I'd make her laugh so hard she had to run to the bathroom. My Mom was a lot of fun to hang out with - my friends even insisted she come with us when we took our weekend road trips.
I have never been to Niagra Falls.

Went to Niagara Falls & took the boat trip near bottom (Maid of the Mist?).

What a treasured memory of your Mom, Foxy. She sounded special!
I was in Vancouver for Expo 86, in October. The weather was perfect and we had a good time.
